Jill Long Thompson Visited Steelworkers At U.S. Steel
Indiana Governor candidate, Jill Long Thompson greeted and met with our members at USS-Gary Works Center and Hot Strip Mill gates, this past Wednesday-April 30th. Jill Long Thompson is seeking the Democratic nomination for Governor, and has received the endorsement of the Steelworkers Union. The Steelworkers have joined numerous groups and unions in actively working for the Long Thompson campaign, recognizing her continuing efforts as an advocate for Indiana workers and their families, in her past legislative position as Indiana Congresswoman. Many of our 1066 members have been active in this campaign by distributing leaflets, going door to door, attending rallies, and talking to members in the workforce. We urge you to support and vote for a union member and a champion of working families on this Tuesday-May 6th, Jill Long Thompson. For more photos of Jill Long Thompson's visit with our members, please visit the pictures page.
