New Officers Sworn In

At the May 1066 union meeting, recently elected executive board and grievers were sworn in by Sub 5 District Director Mike Millsap. The meeting was packed with fellow union brothers and sisters offering their congratulations and well wishes. During the meeting the membership presented the recently flown flag from the U.S.S. Workers Memorial Monument to one of our active veterans, Louis Bain II. A standing ovation and well-wishers thanked Louis for his dedication and service to our country. After the meeting the new officers spent time meeting and talking with the crowd while enjoying some refreshments. With the economy in a tailspin and the steel industry in poor condition, the new officers will have their hands full from day one. Good luck and best wishes to all Local 1066 elected officials. Union Meetings

Remember and try to attend our regular Local 1066 Meetings, held on July 15, 2009 and August 19, 2009. All Regular Union meeting are scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at our Local Union 1066 hall.
